Terra Decode fulfils handmade botanical jewellery orders from China. The shipping option, price and any free-shipping eligibility displayed at checkout form part of your order.

Order processing

In-stock pieces are usually prepared and handed over to our logistics partner within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Pre-order and made-to-order pieces generally need approximately one week for preparation and production, unless the product page states otherwise. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays in China.

The destination estimates below are total delivery estimates counted from the order date for in-stock pieces. They already include our usual order preparation time, so there is no need to add another 1–3 business days. Pre-order and made-to-order pieces can take longer overall.

What appears at checkout

For international orders below the free-shipping threshold, checkout displays Standard Tracked Shipping. Eligible international orders of US$100 or more display Free Standard Shipping. These are service-level names, not the name of the final carrier.

Terra Decode uses manually configured flat rates rather than a live carrier quote. The cross-border and last-mile carrier is selected after dispatch according to the destination, parcel and available route. It may include YunExpress (YunTu) or another tracked logistics partner, followed by a local postal or courier service. No particular carrier is guaranteed at checkout. The carrier name, tracking number and tracking link are provided after the order is fulfilled.

International shipping rates

All rates and thresholds below are in US dollars. Orders with a discounted merchandise subtotal of US$100 or more qualify for free standard international shipping. The threshold is calculated after discounts and before taxes.

Temporary European shipping availability

Shipping remains available to Czechia, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Shipping to Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden is temporarily unavailable while Terra Decode reviews and implements new EU packaging compliance requirements, including the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and country-specific packaging EPR rules. We are working to reopen additional EU destinations where possible, so please check back for updates.

Shipping to Norway is also temporarily unavailable while we review Norway-specific packaging EPR requirements.

Domestic China delivery options and prices are calculated at checkout. Where checkout differs from this table because of a later authorised update, the checkout amount controls.

Estimated delivery times

We know how exciting it is to have something special on its way. Most in-stock orders are prepared within 1–3 business days, and the estimates below show the total time from placing your order to receiving your parcel. Preparation is already included — there is no need to add extra days.

Many orders to the United States arrive in around 10–12 days; deliveries to the United Kingdom often take around 10–11 days, and to Canada around 12–13 days.

These are normal delivery estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. Occasionally, customs processing, public holidays, weather or carrier disruption may cause a parcel to arrive later than expected. Tracking is provided after dispatch.

Pre-order and made-to-order designs: These generally need approximately one week of preparation instead of the standard 1–3 business days. Please allow additional time as stated on the product page.

For customers in India, Indonesia, Türkiye (Turkey), Oman, Egypt, Taiwan, Macao, Argentina, Panama, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Serbia, we can check available international postal or express-mail options. Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm tracking, delivery time, customs eligibility and the shipping price for your address.

For destinations in France's overseas regions, including Mayotte and Réunion, shipping is currently under review alongside applicable packaging requirements.

Tracking

All dispatched orders include tracking. Tracking information is sent to the email address used at checkout and normally appears on the Shopify order-status page or in the Shop app. Some parcels receive both an international number and a separate local last-mile number. Tracking may pause for several business days while a parcel moves between export facilities, customs and local carriers.

Customs, duties and taxes

Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, import duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage, customs-clearance and handling fees imposed by the destination are the customer's responsibility. These charges are not included in the shipping rate.

Address accuracy and order changes

Customers must provide a complete and accurate recipient name, address, postal code, telephone number and email address. Contact Terra Decode immediately if a correction is needed. Changes cannot be guaranteed after preparation or dispatch has begun.

If a parcel is returned, delayed or made undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address, refusal, failure to collect or unpaid import charges, any refund or reshipment may be reduced by the actual non-recoverable shipping, return, customs and handling costs where permitted by law.

Delays, loss and delivery issues

Carriers and customs authorities operate independently, but Terra Decode will provide reasonable assistance and remains responsible to the extent required by applicable law. A parcel still moving within the carrier's normal or investigation period is not automatically treated as lost.

If tracking has not updated for an unusually long period, or if a parcel is marked delivered but cannot be located, contact TerraDecode@Outlook.com with the order number after checking the delivery address, safe places, household members, neighbours, building reception and the local carrier. We may need to complete the carrier's investigation before providing a replacement, refund or other remedy.

Damage or incorrect items

Contact us as soon as possible if an order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, ideally within 48 hours of delivery so that photographs and packaging can support a carrier or fulfilment claim. Include the order number and clear images of the item, outer parcel, internal packaging and shipping label. This requested reporting period does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

NON-REFUNDABLE

Terra Decode pieces are handmade in small batches using real botanical materials and require significant material preparation, labour and production time. We do not accept voluntary returns or refunds for non-faulty items.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of order placement and before the order has been fulfilled or dispatched.

Terra Decode currently processes online payments through PayPal, including payments shown as PayPal and Credit/Debit Card by PayPal. When an order is cancelled, the original PayPal transaction-processing fee will be deducted from the refund and borne by the buyer. PayPal's current Mainland China international commercial transaction fee is 4.40% + US$0.30 per transaction (PayPal official rate, verified 30 September 2026).

PayPal retains the original transaction-processing fee when a commercial payment is refunded.

Terra Decode creates botanical jewellery from real flowers, plants and carefully selected complementary materials. Each piece records the natural differences of the botanical element rather than reproducing a perfectly identical factory-made result.

Studio

Our studio practice is based across Yunnan and Sichuan, China—two regions known for botanical richness and diverse floral landscapes. Pieces may be prepared, assembled, finished and dispatched through our small studio and artisan network in either location.

Natural botanicals

Flowers and plants are selected for their individual form, colour and texture. Natural marks, variation, asymmetry and seasonal differences are retained as part of the design. No two petals or finished pieces will be exactly the same.

Preservation

Botanicals are carefully dried or preserved before being arranged by hand. The process is intentionally slow and may vary according to the flower, humidity, colour and structure of the plant.

Resin and composition

Where resin is used, each botanical element is positioned and encapsulated by hand. Small bubbles, subtle texture, variations in transparency and differences in botanical placement can occur. These are characteristics of handmade resin work and are not normally defects.

Metal, pearls and natural elements

Depending on the design, pieces may include plated metal, sterling silver, gold-filled or other findings, freshwater pearls, shells and natural stones. Always refer to the individual product description for the materials used in a particular piece.

Small-batch production

Terra Decode works in small quantities. Material availability, flower season and the individuality of preserved plants mean some designs may be limited or impossible to reproduce exactly.

Handmade variation

Product images provide a close representation of the design. Your piece may vary slightly in botanical shape, shade, scale and arrangement. These differences are what make each Terra Decode piece individual.

Care and longevity

Botanical jewellery remains delicate and may gradually change with time, light and wear. Follow our Jewellery Care guidance to protect your piece from water, chemicals, impact, heat and prolonged sunlight.

Keep away from water, perfume, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Store gently when not being worn.

Terra Decode jewellery preserves real flowers and plants in delicate handmade designs. Natural botanicals and resin can change gradually with time, light and wear. Thoughtful care will help protect your piece.

Keep it dry

Remove jewellery before showering, bathing, swimming, exercising, washing hands or sleeping. Do not soak pieces or expose them to repeated humidity.

Avoid chemicals

Apply perfume, hairspray, lotion, sunscreen, alcohol-based products and cosmetics before putting on your jewellery. Allow products to dry fully and avoid direct contact with resin, botanicals and metal components.

Protect from heat and sunlight

Store away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters, hot vehicles and extreme temperatures. Natural flowers and resin may gradually change colour or clarity when exposed to UV light and heat.

Handle gently

Do not bend, twist, drop or place heavy objects on the jewellery. Hold a piece by its metal setting or chain where possible rather than pulling the preserved botanical element.

Cleaning

Wipe gently with a clean, dry, soft cloth. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive cloths, jewellery dips, solvents, alcohol or chemical cleaning products unless a product listing specifically confirms they are suitable.

Storage

Store each piece separately in a dry jewellery box or soft pouch to reduce scratching, tangling and pressure. Keep necklaces fastened and laid flat where possible. Avoid storing in bathrooms or other humid areas.

Natural ageing

Real flowers, resin, pearls, shells and plated metals may develop subtle changes over time. This natural ageing is part of the character of botanical jewellery and is not normally considered a defect.

Repairs

If a piece is accidentally damaged, contact TerraDecode@Outlook.com with photographs. Repair availability and cost depend on the design, materials and damage. Because flowers are unique, an exact botanical match cannot be guaranteed.
